The Building Test Centre has a mobile site testing unit ready to respond wherever and whenever the test may be; our central location in leicestershire allows easy access to all parts of the country and our UKAS accredited testers are knowledgable, reliable and fully equipped for all site and property types.
After the introduction of the 2003 edition of Approved Document E of the building regulations (Resistance to the Passage of Sound), all new build and conversion properties for residential purpose must provide reasonable resistance to sound from external sources and from neighbouring properties. We offer PCT services for builders to show compliance with Part E or architect specification and site testing services to manufacturers for the development of new Robust Detail constructions. We can also offer BB93 testing for partitions in schools. The Building Test Centre's Pre-Completion Site team provide on site sound testing nationwide: our mobile sound test unit and the latest technology combined with expert testers give us the ability to respond to all site test needs quickly and efficiently.
